Small Redecorating Tips

Major redecorating can be overwhelming, so try subtle changes that can transform the whole look!

* Showcase Nature
Use elements like old branches or flower displays throughout your home, whether in vases, over doorway or twisted in chandeliers. Fill glass jars with seashells and smooth stones, or stack fresh fruits in a wooden bowl as a table centrepiece.

* Turn Old Into New
All you need is some paint and imagination to turn old bookcases and TV armories into new furniture pieces. If your build-in bookcases are dated, review them with a coat of paint, new doors and handles. Or use fabric or wallpaper to add a pop of colour to the back panels of a bookcase.

* Make a Difference
Bamboo furniture, willow baskets, woven rugs, wooden shades and linen fabrics not only add amazing style to a home, they are also sustainable, biodegradable products. When redoing a room, ask yourself what accents you can add that won't harm our planet.

* D.I.Y. Laminate Flooring
Laminate Flooring is a relatively new and innovative product, well suited for home owners and do-it-yourself (D.I.Y.) individuals who are looking for a weekend project. No fuss, No hidden cost, No paying something you don't need. Or, you can employ someone who supplies the laminate flooring to do the installing.
