- Unused tyres.
- Coconut shells, bamboo and plastic bags.
- Broken bottles or glass that could hold water.
- Drainage pipes.
- Banana, bamboo and yam stumps.
Prevention and Control of The Spread of Aedes Mosquitoes
- Change water in vases, flower pot bases and water tanks.
- Clean thoroughly once a week.
- Cover all water containers to prevent mosquitoes from breeding.
- Place all containers that can collect water, such as cans and bottles into plastic bags and dispose of at designated places.
- Ensure gutters are not blocked.
- Add adequate amount of larvicide (TEMEPHOS-10 grams per 20 gallons) into water storage to kill larvae every three months.
Just take 10 minutes a week to elimate Aedes
